Neck Building Tools
This is the full list of tools and parts I rely on in the Building Guitar Necks course. It’s also a solid foundation for anyone building electric guitar necks, whether you’re following the course or working on your own.
In the course, we walk through each tool & part one at a time so you can get comfortable before you start making sawdust. You’ll also see me using some cool jigs in the course, and I’ll show you how to make them.
This isn’t every tool you’ll ever use for building necks, but it is everything you’ll need for the course. And if you have questions about alternatives, upgrades, or budget options, the Community and the Live Q&A sessions are always there to help.
Some of the items on this list are available through Potvin Guitars. GMA members get access to a special discounted course bundle, which includes the templates and jigs used throughout the lessons.
